Explain howphilosophy human resource must be treated as assets not rather a cost anorganization.
philosophy
revolves around management’s beliefs and assumption about people their nature,
needs, values, and their approach to work. These beliefs and assumptions, then
determine how people should be treated.
Kovilacheri & Nadu, (2019) there are three approaches for treating
people: commodity approach, machine approach, and humanistic approach. In
commodity approach, a person is treated like a commodity that can be bought or
sold at a price as was the practice in old slavery system. In machine approach,
a person is treated as a part of the machine that can be fitted like any other
part. Both these approaches treat a person as physiological human being.
The
human resource philosophy the should be Human beings are the most important
assets in the organization and the worker the treated as assets in the
organization not tree as cost of the organization
According
to Kovilacheri & Nadu, (2019) an employee is an individual who works for someone else in
exchange for compensation.
According to Shani et
al (2011) an employee is a worker whose employer defines the job tasks and
controls how the job is to be performed.
In
terms of whether employees have “value” to your business, the answer is yes. So
from an economics standpoint, employees, more specifically labor or human
capital, are “assets” in terms of their being valuable to running your
business. But accounting-wise, you would not include them with your various
assets.
The
following are reason for treated the employee like asset in the organization
Employees are the face of an
organization; due to the any organization the judged
according to the appearances of the worker of the organization and depending
from the status of the worker also if an employee isn’t happy she might spread
a negative word about the organization, even after leaving it. What’s more is
that an unhappy employee will lack motivation and will not perform well,
leading to unsatisfactory performance. These results in unachievable
performance targets, low profits, and employee churn.
Employees are the first customer ofany organization; The any organization the employer their
first customer for any goods and service, If the organization does not have
happy and satisfied employees, they will not deliver performance-oriented
results, For example the first customer of the brand the employee the one trust
the band like coca cola the one of the uses of the product the employee
Employees are major contributors to
profits and worth of the organization; Employees can be given
a monetary value for the effort they put in to help the business earn profits.
This results in excellent customer reviews and creating brand loyalty from
customers. Therefore, employees are the most valuable assets an organization
has. It’s their abilities, knowledge, and experience that can’t be replaced
They employees are the nurturers ofthe organization; Employees are the ones who give their
heart and soul to an organization. Similar to how parents raise their children,
employees nurture their organization with their values and endless efforts to
take it to the top. Because the workers the people that can make the
organization to be strong or weak they should be treated lie as asset because
the nutrient of the organization. For example Coca-Cola the using the worker to
promoting the product to the customer and not explain the weakness of the
product (Kovilacheri & Nadu, 2019).
Employees are essential to
providing goods or services; Improving employee efficiency and
performance are major priorities for an organization. Employees produce the
final product, take care of finances, promote your business, and maintain the
records for decision making. For example the employee using skill and
profession for production of good and service (Kovilacheri & Nadu, 2019).
Employees are the base of a strong
and long-running organization; Employees run the
organization, no matter what level. This means their strength, commitment and
dedication, and their emotional connection with the organization can’t be judged
as assets in monetary value
Therefore
employee the very important person for any organization because if the not
employee the no organization and the vision and mission of the organization
depend on the ability of the employees.
